Despite the situation with COVID-19, the “100 Actions for Peace” campaign is continuing. As of June 16, 2020, there were 49 actions marked as part of the campaign, making it closer to reach it’s goal of 100 actions by the end of the year.

What a time to write about peace. To enrich internet with more information about inspiring activists and organisations fighting for peace and non-violence and against war and militarism. That’s what SCI Switzerland is doing from 12th until the 19th of June, 2020. Online.
But that is not where it ends. A centenary of peace activism of SCI has inspired SCI Poland to organize another online camp just one day later.

GHD marks the first action for peace in Turkey
More than ever, the inner peace has become important during the lockdown due to the pandemic. Therefore, Gönüllü Hizmetler Derneği, organized a three-week long yoga virtual workcamp at the end of April and beginning of June. The workcamp was online and open to volunteers around the world.
This activity is the first action for peace from Turkey, and we are looking forward for more.

SCI Catalunya and the Spanish Civil War
As SCI is marking its 100th anniversary, the branch in Catalunya is turning 36. On this occasion SCI Catalonya wanted to bring the memory of the places which played an important role during SCI activity and the Spanish Civil War. And they did it with style.
