Human Library: Make Food Not War

Action for Peace #13

What is it about?

This event awaits you with some deliscious stories!

Human Library is an inclusion tool that seeks to challenge prejudice and discrimination and encourages understanding.

The Human Library: Make Food Not War is focused on refugees and migration and it gives a chance to meet people from different backgrounds. with stories connecting their path to Bulgaria and their national food.

This is how the event will work:
We have invited people, who will be Books.
We invite you to be Readers.
Our team of volunteers (the Librarians) will be hosting you in the cosy space at Дом на киното / Dom na kinoto .

On your arrival at the venue, the Librarians will show you a list of the Books and can help you with your choice if you need support. For reading Books you will be given 15 minutes. For those eager to read more, the time will be enough to read more than one Book.

We advise you not to leave early, because the end of the event will be followed with the screening of the movie “Capernaum”, awarded in 2018 with the Cannes Film Festival Jury Award.
